The regulator said the "vast majority" of UK advertisers (and beyond) use Google's technology to bid and sell ad space, giving the company an advantage over the competition .
The CMA is concerned that Google is strengthening its dominant position through self-serving practices, an issue that has concerned regulators globally. Google did not immediately comment on the allegations, according to CNBC.
