Google released a new tool today to make it easier for apps and services within and outside the cloud platform to communicate with others: the Google Cloud Pub / Sub is here.
The new API, which is still in beta, is designed to deliver reliable and real-time messaging as a robust alternative that isn't dependent on cable services.
