Google is coming up with a new communication application

This post will not come as a surprise to many of you. For 2020, Google is preparing to release another communication application. According a post in The Information, Google's new app (no name yet) will bring together various parts of G Suite, such as Gmail, Hangouts Chat, Hangouts Meet, and Google Drive.

Let's go again…

The company has a very long list of efforts to create a communication application. For those who do not remember we can mention Gmail applications, Hangouts, Google+, Gchat, Allo, Duo, Spaces, Wave, RCS, inbox, the weird chatting environment on YouTube and maybe something I'm not feeling right now. How many of these communication applications have you used at one time, and how many of them remain?

Google's continued efforts to develop a communication application seem to have no end.

The app, which is currently being tested internally by Google and will be available as part of G Suite, will be aimed at businesses. The publication from The Information states that the application can be released as a competitor to the Slack and Teams applications, although at the moment there are not many details about how the upcoming application will work.

We should not be surprised to see the app released on this year's Google I / O. Until then, if you want a chat application you can use one of the other twenty ways available to the company…
