Google is coming up with a new communication application

This post will not come as a surprise to many of you. For 2020 the ετοιμάζεται να κυκλοφορήσει άλλη μια communication. According a post in The Information, Google's new app (there isn't one yet) will bring together different parts of G Suite, such as Gmail, Hangouts , το Hangouts Meet και το Google Drive.

The company has a very long list of attempts to create a communication app. For those who don't remember, we can mention them Gmail, Hangouts, Google+, Gchat, Allo, duo, , Wave, RCS, inbox, the weird chatting environment on YouTube and maybe something I'm not feeling right now. How many of these communication applications have you used at one time, and how many of them remain?

Google's continued efforts to develop a communication application seem to have no end.

The app, which is currently being tested internally by Google and will be available as part of G Suite, will be aimed at businesses. The publication from The Information states that the application can be released as a competitor to the Slack and Teams applications, although at the moment there are not many details about how the upcoming application will work.

We should not be surprised if we see the application released this year . Until then, if you want a chat app you can use one of the other twenty ways the company has…

  1. They have been content with collecting so much information (why ???) that they have completely sidelined the development labs. The result is "we do this, until we stop and move on to the next".

    Considering that G does not gather over-information about everything, without deep reason, I believe that not in the distant future the real existence of G (along with that existence of Ms and Fb) will be revealed in societies and will be described by one flesh ”.
    It will have the obvious image of the monopoly and the supranational company. Above Laws, Constitutions and Freedoms…
