Google Product Design: For the first time, the Google Developers Group Greece, representing GDG Heraklion, GDG Thessaloniki and GDG Athens, is organizing the official Google Product Design Sprint in Heraklion, Crete at 26 and 27 July, as part of Google After I / O Extended Heraklion 2017.
The Google Product Design Sprint uses design thinking to reduce the inherent risks presented in the transfer of productof the market successfully.
Developed by Google Ventures and is a successful methodology for developing strategy, innovation and "Design Thinking" that can be used by any group (startup company) is planning to launch a new business proposal / product.
It is a rapid process of answering critical issues through design, creationof prototyping and testing ideas (understanding | sketching-designing, prototyping & validating ideas).
During the Google Product Design Sprint organized in Heraklion, selected startups and companies with the help of mentors will be taught the Product Design Sprint methodology in order to be able to apply it to their own products or services.

In Crete, the Google Developers Group Greece collaborates with the Young Entrepreneurship Association, due to its remarkable contribution to the ecosystem of start-ups, in the vocational training and networking of vulnerable groups and due to the integration policies that it follows.
