Google Search: Imagine you want to change your kitchen and you are searching information for a new bench: quartz or granite. Sure, Google can tell you what quartz is and what granite is, but it's not what you thought.
You want to know more relevant information about the differences in costs, the benefits and the strength of each material and possibly ask for guidance on what you can do.
For these types of queries, Google brings a new way of quick access to relevant information to help you get a fuller insight into too many aspects of the topic you're looking for. All this with just a search.
So if you are looking for something like "quartz or granite", you will see a panel with a set of relevant information that you can explore.
This new view of results is intended to help you and guide you through common, helpful aspects of a topic. According to Google's announcement at The Keyboard, the new feature comes to help you "have fun through the available information, which aims to deliver more relevant results".
This update is the latest in a series of improvements made by Google to the Google Search engine.
To learn more about how these feature types work, you can read the Google publication for new snippets.
I do not know about you but personally did something to me by reading that the new feature is aimed at guidance.
