Today, Google revealed all the information that was missing from its first announcement in March about the new streaming service Stadia.
Google Stadia will be released in November in 14 different countries: USA, UK, Canada and many more. Greece is not included, but there are also VPNs. The service will be released with at least 31 games by 21 different developers.
For the “Founder's Edition” package you will need the hardware which will cost 130 dollars, while the subscription will cost 10 per month.
Pre-orders for the “Founder's Edition” are open but there is something important you should know.
You've probably heard of Google's Stadia service as "Netflix of games." It turns out that probably won't be the case. Although Google may eventually release a list of free games included in a $ 10 subscription, Stadia will not be primarily a subscription service.
Subscription today, for example, includes only one Destiny 2 game, and Google says you will need to buy cloud games for the same retail prices as on other platforms such as PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam.
So you will be wondering which games will be in the service:
- Bandai Namco - Dragonball Xenoverse 2
- Bethesda - DOOM Eternal, DOOM 2016, Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: Youngblood
- Bungie - Destiny 2
- Capcom - TBD
- Coatsink - Get Packed (Stadia exclusive)
- Codemasters - GRID
- Deep Silver - Metro Exodus
- Drool - Thumper
- Electronic Arts - TBD
- Giants Software - Farming Simulator 19
- Larian Studios - Baldur's Gate 3
- nWay Games - Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid
- Rockstar Games - TBD
- Sega - Football Manager
- SNK - Samurai Shodown
- Square Enix - Final Fantasy XV, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider
- 2K GAMES - NBA 2K, Borderlands 3
- Tequila Works - Gylt (Stadia exclusive)
- Warner Bros. - Mortal Kombat 11
- THQ - Darksiders genesis
- Ubisoft - Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Just Dance, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Trials Rising, The Crew 2
Google says this is not the entire list of games, and will be announced more next week during E3, but before the service starts in November.
