Η Google φέρνει μια νέα δυνατότητα διαδικτυακής ασφάλειας για να βοηθήσει τους χρήστες να αποφεύγουν να βλέπουν graphics with violent or pornographic images when using its search engine.
The new feature was announced during the company's Safer Internet Day event on Tuesday.
The new default setting will be enabled for everyone and will automatically blur inappropriate images that appear in results search, even for users who do not have SafeSearch enabled.
Google confirmed to The Verge that, if they choose, logged-in users over the age of 18 will be able to turn off the blur setting completely after its release in the "coming months".
