GoPro has unveiled two new action cameras, the GoPro Hero 13 Black and the smaller Hero 13, and is already accepting pre-orders through its website.
The new expected Series 13 coming in September adds a handful of new features over the current Series 12. The Black model offers a newly redesigned battery that delivers 10 percent more capacity, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity that can drive up to 40 percent faster transfers and a magnetic latch that makes it easy to switch between mounts.
Not much has changed in terms of specs, but on the new model you'll get HLG HDR (Hybrid Log Gamma High Dynamic Range) and 10-bit video. There are also additional audio tuning options, an in-camera noise reduction system, and a new slo-mo mode that can record up to 400 frames per second in 720p quality, or 360 fps at 900p, or 120 fps at 5,3K. It is compatible with the one new set of HB series lenses.

According to GoPro, the new little Hero can continuously record up to 100 minutes at the highest quality on a single charge, or 155 minutes when downgraded to 1080p.
Both new cameras are available for pre-order starting today. Pricing starts at 450 euros for the Hero 13 Black and 230 euros for the smaller Hero (Greece prices) and scales up if you choose one of the many pre-configured packages.
The Black series will launch globally on September 10th, followed by the smaller Hero on September 22nd. The new lenses will also arrive on September 10th.
