Safe transmission of election results through the "SYZEFXIS" shields EL.AS. in view of the parliamentary elections and under fear attacks by hackers on election day procedures.
In a meeting held at the offices of the Electronic Crime Prosecution, all competent officers of the Corps, representatives of the National Security Incident Management Network participated Ministryof the Interior, the National Authority for Countering Electronic Attacks (CERT), the National Network of the Public Sector / SYZEXIS, the Region of Attica, OTE, Forthnet and Singular Logic.
The meeting provided information on how to address any technical issues or malicious actions during the broadcast of the election results.
In order to achieve the smooth and smooth conduct of the transmission, it was determined team coordination of the electoral process, by all involved Bodies, for direct and continuous communication, with the aim of protection of the results transmission process.
It is noted that the Cybercrime Division is already in a state of constant readiness to preserve Internet infrastructures from cyber-attacks in order to smoothly streamline the transmission of the results.
