Apple settled the matter with Swiss photographer Sabine Liewal's claim that Apple allegedly abused her photo and used it during the Keynote that featured the Retina MacBook Pro. According to an American court, there was a settlement, but it is unknown what the terms of the agreement were.
The Swiss photographer had initially sued Apple for using her eye-catching photo because Apple used it for commercial purposes. As you can see in the picture above, Cupertino's company used it to present the Retina MacBook Pro last June, but without permission for commercial use of the image.
Her lawsuit, the photographer had filed her last October, demanding damages from the damage caused by Apple, but with the settlement that has become the issue has been resolved without their agreement being known.
