Democracy News that insulted Erdogan was hacked

A Greek newspaper's website appears to have been hacked after it published an article insulting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan .

Saturday morning, its homepage Democracy News was replaced by a Turkish message that read:

"The Turks are here, where are you?" By noon the message had been removed, but the page is still down.

Democracy published an article on its front page on Friday, which resulted in the Turkish Foreign Ministry being insulted and summoning the Greek ambassador.

In a statement, the Greek Foreign Ministry condemned the use of offensive language, saying it did not reflect the country's political culture.
