Handbrake is a great tool for anyone who wants to convert audio or video files from one format to another. The program is completely free and open source, built by volunteers, with tons of great features.
It is available for all platforms ( Windows , macOS and Linux ) and has a very friendly user interface even for novice users who have never dealt with video editing-conversion.
Get started with HandBrake in seconds by choosing one of the profiles that already exist for each device you're interested in (default conversion types) or choose a universal profile for standard or premium conversions.
