Lessons at Harvard; If your goal for 2017 is to take better photos this post is for you. Below is a free Mooc from Harvard University designed to help you become a better photographer.
The well-known university has uploaded its entire photography course to ALISON – one of many repositories for online exercises learnings.
The course consists of twelve sections covering the basic principles of photography (from tools, software, compositions and light). There is also a thirteenth section that will give you an appreciation of what you have learned.
If you pass 80 scores or more, you will get a diploma that you can print and hang on your wall.
But a warning: the lessons are the same from 2009, and while some fundamental principles are still the same, some of the lessons for software tools are a little behind.
Harvard, apparently, is not the only prestigious university that has made it available material in Dianetwork. UCLA, Yale, Princeton universities have already started their own efforts, but most of them tend to be geared towards computer science students and academics.
