Hitomi Downloader is an open source downloader for the Windows operating system that can be extended with various scripts.
The app supports downloads by default from many platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Flickr, Imgur, Instagram, Wayback Machine, Weibo and Pinterest. Supports downloads from several manga sites, as well as adult sites and services by default. All downloads supported by youtube-dl also supported by Hitomi Downloader.
Of course, as mentioned above you can extend the support via scipts, which are available for download on the project GitHub page.
The application is quite large (it has a size of over 80 Megabytes) and Windows may show you a SmartScreen error during the first run. Once bypassed, the main screen of the application loads.
To get started, paste any URLs from a site that is supported in the application address field. With a click of the download button the application will start downloading.
If you're using the app for the first time, it's a good idea to first look at the settings by selecting Options > Preferences. There you will find a number of important options, such as preferences for setting download folders for each of the supported services, options for specific services such as YouTube or Instagram, options forpressureof certain downloads in zip files and other advanced settings preferences code program access, add proxy and more.
Hitomi Downloader also supports downloading torrents.
