Following the success of the Honda Adventure Roads 2025 event from Rome to Istanbul, Honda announces that the story of this epic journey is now available to a global audience. A new 48-minute feature film, focusing on the unique community and spirit of the event, is available to stream on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
The documentary marks a milestone as it marks the first time Honda Motorcycles has leveraged major streaming platforms to tell its story. While the 2025 event saw 30 riders successfully complete the 2.500km route from Rome to Istanbul on CRF1100L Africa Twin motorcycles, the film goes beyond the technical challenge of the route. It reflects Honda’s deep appreciation for its customers and its belief that motorcycles are a vehicle for meaningful life experiences.
Honda Adventure Roads creates a safe and organized environment, where riders can fully trust themselves and their motorcycle, with the support of specialized instructors who enhance confidence, skills and team spirit.
Capturing the emotion of the journey, the film explores the bonds formed between riders from 19 different nationalities as they traverse the rapidly changing landscapes of the Balkans. Viewers are transported from the sunny shores of Italy to the demanding dirt trails and dense forests of Montenegro and Albania. Through shared challenges and unforgettable moments, the film shows how a diverse group transforms into a close-knit Adventure Roads family.
The experience is enhanced by the presence of top HRC Dakar Rally riders Adrien Van Beveren and Pablo Quintanilla, brand ambassador Kirian Mirabet and motocross legend Dave Thorpe. Their guidance reinforces Honda’s commitment to delivering these experiences in a controlled, safe and professionally organised environment, allowing participants to progress safely and fully discover the potential of their bikes.
At its core, the film highlights the deep connection between rider and motorcycle. Honda Adventure Roads is not just about spectacular routes, but the common denominator that unites people and machines. By showcasing the story on global platforms, Honda aims to inspire a wider audience, showcasing how adventure riding can offer freedom, connection and personal growth.
As the 2025 story reaches screens around the world, the next chapter of Honda Adventure Roads is already underway. In 2026, the event evolves with the transition to the powerful XL750 Transalp with Honda E-Clutch, opening up the experience to even more riders.
The new season will be divided into two unique sections: the wild landscapes of the Pyrenees in June and the impressive mountain passes of the Alps in September.
Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.
