On Thursday Facebook announced yet another way to violate your privacy. Starting soon, the company said Thursday, it will use information collected by others websites to understand which ads are most relevant to you.
Fortunately, however, Facebok offers a way to choose whether or not you allow it.
How; follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to her page Digital Advertising Alliance, a consortium of commercial advertising groups. There you will find a list of all the companies that track it tour to deliver tailored ads to you. In the list you will see there is also Facebook.
Find "Facebook Inc" in the list and check the box on the right.
Then just click "Submit".
