HTC has just sent a very cryptic image to MME. The e-mail does not have an explanatory text with further indications, it simply states that the company "wanted to share the date of the next big announcement."
Even more puzzling is that the date (January 12, 2017) mentioned in HTC's event announcement is after Consumer Electronics Show 2017, a large exhibition event where companies usually make new product announcements.
However, HTC has made all of its latest online announcements instead of organizing big and outrageous expensive events for the media.
The only highlight of the event announcement is "For U", which as you can understand is not that enlightening.
Let's mention that HTC has a history pluswork with the company UnderArmor which produces wearables.
Can we see another fitness band or smartwatch?
It's a bit early to see the successor of HTC 10, but no one can know, everything is possible.
