If you liked it Huawei Honor 8, then you will be happy to know that the Chinese company is planning to launch the next model in the coming months.
We do not know whether it will be called Huawei Honor 9, but the smartphone already has a model number that has been confirmed by Tena, Honor DUK-TL30. The Chinese Regulatory Commission has just certified a new Honor smartphone that comes with more powerful features than its predecessor.
First of all, the news device Huawei Honor is equipped with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz, but the name of the chipset is not listed. We hope it will be Huawei's new Kirin 960 CPU, since the Honor 8 sported the Kirin 950 chipset.
Another major improvement over the 8 is the large 5,7-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels), instead of full HD (1080p).
The new device comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable via microSD card).
It has a dual-camera on the back, which consists of two 12-megapixel cameras and 2-megapixel as well as LED flash. There is also a secondary camera of the 8-megapixel on the front for selfies and video calls.
TENAA certification also features smartphone images, so we can confirm that the upcoming Honor will feature a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The DUK-TL30 will be powered by a huge battery of 3900 mAh, and will be launched with Android 7.0 Nougat.
The dimensions of this upcoming device are 157 × 77,5 × 6,97 mm and weighs 184g (battery included).
