Huawei Mate 10: A few days before the release of the next iPhone, Huawei is already trying to compete with Apple's next-generation Huawei Mate 10.
The next one device from the #3 manufacturer company smartphones on the planet will feature the new Kirin 970 chipset, which will launch possibilities processings AI. It will essentially be the first Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for smartphones.
This will give more processing capabilities to the device, instead of using an AI in the cloud to process all the data that your phone collects about your location and activity, doing it locally through the device.
Speaking to Reuters at the IFA Berlin Fair, Huawei's head of goods, Richard Yu, said:
“Compared to Samsung and Apple, we have advantages. Users will have much faster performance, longer battery life and more compact design. ”
This is not the first time that Yu has promised to outdo Apple. Back in July, it promised that the Mate 10 would have very long battery life, it would charges faster and will take better photos than the Cupertino devices.
Huawei also claims that the new chip 10inm Kirin 970 will allow 50% longer battery life on phones.
It will be very interesting to see if the Huawei she can really keep her promises, as we're talking about giant showdown.
