The Chinese company Huawei, known for quality products and its low prices, it seems that it is preparing to hit the market hard phablets, with its new 7-inch model. The characteristics of the device show that it follows its well-known recipe, offering a quad-core phablet on the low end price of €399.
More specifically, the Media Pad X1 will come with the quad-core HiSilicon 910 processor, clocked at 1.6GHz, it will have 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage space. The resolution of its screen will be 1920×1200, a particularly positive element considering its relatively small diagonal. Regarding the autonomy of the model, the battery it will have a 5000 mAh charge, so we will be able to enjoy our device for many hours.
In addition to the above, the X1 will also include phone capabilities for those who have a headset or don't mind putting on the bulky tablets in their ear. Rumor has it that the product will come with a smart cover that leaves a small part of the screen free, just like Samsung's S View technology. Whether the smart cover and LTE capabilities supported by the model will be provided at the initial – and particularly low – cost of €399 remains to be seen.
