It's so good Huawei P9? Huawei in its effort to promote its news smartphone P9, presented the following advertising with an image purportedly taken with the device.
The main goal of the company was to introduce the dual camera system of the P9. But the result of the ad was not what was expected. Huawei unveiled…
In a Google+ post, the Huawei caption states, "# HuaweiP9's dual Leica cameras make taking photos in low light conditions a pleasure." Lie.
To be fair, "taking photos in low light conditions like this" is not a lie. But for the company to imply that you can get the same results is ridiculous. Also, the photo published by the company is not low light.
The image's EXIF data shows it was taken by a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. This device costs $4.500 and is not a smartphone. Unless Huawei's P9 can shoot DSLRs photos.
So right after the revelation, the company in a statement to Android Police, said:
“An image was recently posted on social which was not shot by the Huawei P9. The photo, which was professionally taken for a Huawei P9 advertisement, was published to inspire our community. But we recognize that she should have been clearer in her caption. We never intended to mislead. We apologize for this and have removed the image.”
So to remember that polishing is not gold.
