Η IBM announced that it would create a new specialist center in the field Big Data & Business Analytics in our country (Center of Competence), strengthening its activity in the field of technology and consulting services in the region.
The center will help businesses and organizations to make the most of Business Analytics and Cognitive Computing technologies, improving business operations and enhancing their competitiveness in the global marketplace.
The group of specialized consultants of that center, which is part of the service sector of IBM Greece, will provide international customers with know-how.
The new center will lead collaborations with businesses and organizations in the broader geographic area of Big Data and Business Analytics, in close collaboration with global network of corresponding IBM centers in Berlin, Beijing, Dallas, London, New York, Tokyo, Washington and Zurich.
By further enhancing its focus on Big Data and the Analytics sector in Greece, IBM is collaborating with (OPA) for the dorganization διαλέξεων, την presentation case studies and conducting workshops on the principles and applications of Big Data and Business Analytics.
Partnerships with academic institutions are part of a number of initiatives that IBM has set up in order to help skill gap between millions of jobs created in Big Data and Business Analytics, and scientists and engineers who have the theoretical and practical training required to meet them.
