The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), a UK privacy watchdog, issued a warning to citizens using surveillance cameras with default settings, saying it is not a safe practice. As we mentioned in a previous post all cameras use the default ones codeof access, are discovered and collected by a website that does live streaming their unsuspecting owners.

The Appliances have not been compromised in any way, but access is possible because the owners have not changed the default username and password.
ICO does not give the name of the site, but it seems they are talking about the same website we had denounced in our previous article.
Incascam.com was created specifically to raise awareness of the dangers of the habit of using devices with their default settings. The webmaster also mentions in the FAQ that a simple request arrives to remove an interested party's webcam from their database.
