IGuRu.gr is a rather adventurous site. Its managers may go through identity crises (and sometimes crises of conscience), and its visitors pay for it.
So those who have watched the history of the page have been confronted with many strange and incomprehensible things.
One morning, say, by clicking on the URL of the page, they found themselves on another page, since iGuRu.gr had been configured to redirect to another domain Surname.
Lately the site travels all over the internet. Initially we parked it on a small server that we have for pilot projects. The server specs, however, were not enough to run the site, resulting in the pages opening desperately slowly.
Soon after we went to a business plan of WordPress.com, but again we were not happy with the performance, but also with the limitations of the company.
At the moment we think we have reached a good point, as we have changed servers again. The specs seem to be more than enough for the site, and we are running out of storage space. The connection line is 1Gb Dedicated, only for the server that hosts us, and we do not share it with anyone else.
The Results were expected for the two fools seeking quality:
It remains to be seen when our minds will return… At the moment, however, we believe that the site sat well where it sat and we do not intend to make any other changes.
I think this makes us different from other news sites. We do not sit "well" on a site to make simple posts about technology as a phenomenon, but we are constantly experimenting to explore and add new technologies.
The audience that wants more conservative things can of course choose other pages that talk about technology and do not apply it.
Welcome to our new "home" and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Do you have anything to notice or say? Your comments are always welcome!
Well done, keep up the good work!
