The latest CES in Vegas has clearly shown us that more and more devices in our home will be connected to the Internet. However, Internet-enabled devices can always attract the attention of hackers.
The infographic published by Trend Micro explains how vulnerable it can be an automated home of tomorrow.
For example, if hacked by the hackers, CCTV cameras that protect our homes could be turned off. They can also be used to alert cybercriminals when you are not at home.
If hackers gain access to your smart TV again, you may wake up one morning and find that what you did last night with your wife was posted on inappropriate websites.
Also, videos and photos taken from the TV can be used to steal your identity and, possibly, even for extortion.
