The beginning was when the Titanfall development team expressed the need for a software patch that would make the analog sticks of the controller more accurate. According to statements by Respawn Entertainment's head of design for Titanfall, Justin Hendry, Verge, his team has worked with Microsoft to improve the Xbox One controls.

There was a statement from Microsoft, according to which the controller will be upgraded through the February upgrade package. The upgrade will take place automatically when the controller is synchronized with the console. According to the company, the improvement will involve increasing the sensitivity and accuracy of the buttons and sticks of the controller.

In addition to improving the control panel, Respawn Entertainment has stated that it is working with Microsoft to develop a further upgrade that will convert the image to full HDTV Standard. However, it has not been clarified whether this upgrade will be limited to Titanfall or will apply to all titles available for Xbox One.

Microsoft is investing a lot in Titanfall, which will be released on 11 March, exclusively for PC and Xbox One. Shortly afterwards it is expected to be released for the earlier Xbox 360. So far, Titanfall enjoys rigorous reviews from experts who have had the chance to play it. It is the first Respawn title, made up of Infinity Ward's "veterans", who created Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
