Inkscape 1.0.2 was released for Linux, Windows and Mac

Inkscape 1.0.2 is finally here for after at least three years of development and, just as expected, this major release comes with a huge changelog.

Image and web page editing and design program is available for Linux operating systems, Windows and macOS. Starting with version 1.0.2, InkScape is offered as native macOS , which means you should notice better performance and increased reliability.

Incscape is a powerful, free and open source, design. Whether you're an illustrator, designer, web designer, or just someone who needs to create images from scratch, Inkscape is for you.

What's new in this update is that Inkscape introduces a new feature called PowerPencil that allows the Pencil tool to be used with a pressure-dependent width. You can also create a closed path and draw line drawings.

The tool has also been improveds PDF and now supports clickable links and metadata, while other notable improvements are variable font support, new templates, grid gradients that work in the program and new line height settings.

There are also customizable themes, and letter and users can save the current file as a template.
