Inkscape 1.0.2 is finally available for download after at least three years of development and, just as expected, this big release comes with a huge changelog.
The editor and image and web design, is available for Linux operating systems, Windows and macOS. Starting with version 1.0.2, InkScape is offered as native macOS application, which means you should notice better performance and increased reliability.

What's new in this update is that Inkscape introduces a new feature called PowerPencil that enables the tool Pencil to be used with a pressure-dependent width. You can also create a closed path and draw line drawings.
The PDF export tool has also been improved and now supports links and clickable metadata, while other notable improvements include variable font support, new templates, grid gradations that work in Browser and new line height settings.
There are also customizable themes, icons and fontseries and users can save the current file as a template.
