Incscape is a powerful, free and open source design tool. Whether you are an illustrator, designer, web designer or just someone who needs to create images from scratch, Inkscape is for you.
The latest in this information is that Inkscape introduces a new feature called PowerPencil that allows the tool Pencil to be used with a pressure-dependent width. You can also create a closed path and draw line drawings.
The PDF exporter has also been improved and now supports links and metadata clickable, while other notable improvements are variable font support, new templates, grid gradients that work in the browser, and new settings height lines.
There are also customizable themes, icons and fonts and users can save the current file as a template.
