A new device introduced during Intel's CES 2015 keynote is called Curie and it's a w computers the size of a button.
The tiny Curie it contains a Quark SoC, a Bluetooth Low-Energy radio and sensors to monitor fitness.
It can be used with a watch battery or a rechargeable source.
Curie will be available in Q2 2015 for companies wishing to integrate it into their new products.
Intel says Curie has just left the lab and so still needs a lot of work.
