Intel quietly put the free Android app over the weekend. The new app lets you use your phone as a keyboard as well as a trackpad for your computer.
Intel Remote Keyboard is designed for use on mini computers that are approximately the size of a tablet and do not come with peripherals.
This does not mean you can not use it on any PC.
The app reportedly works flawlessly on either system running Windows 7 or 8.
Just install the app on your Android device, install the necessary software on your computer, and you're good to go.
When your devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, the Intel Remote Keyboard application will automatically detect your computer.
