From the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office has been arrested by 30 a longtime foreigner, of Nigerian descent, for computer fraud and forgeries after using the Internet.
The perpetrator was arrested in the context of the carjacking, the moment he went to EL.TA. to pick up using a fake Alien Asylum Applicant card, productwhat he had ordered via the Internet in a deceptive manner.
He has purchased seven (7) of different kinds and products of great value, from a well-known auction and internet buying website, providing forged proof of money transfer transactions.
Five (7) Computer Fraud and Counterfeit Cases were screened by the Electronic Crime Division, via the Internet, and the 30-long-time actor of Nigerian descent was arrested.
In particular, at its expense, a file of an automated procedure for fraud involving Internet, use of forged documents, certificate forgery, computer fraud and post-consumer forgery was formed.
The perpetrator was arrested in a police operation after thorough investigations and searches conducted by the Electronic Crime Investigation Division for his immediate detection.
Investigation of the case began with the appropriate use of data from the Officers of the Electronic Crime Division, according to which the aforementioned perpetrator had purchased seven (7) of different kinds and products of great value from a well-known auction and buying website Internet.
It was found that the purchase had been made by producing spoiled-falsified evidence of money-transfer transactions, in which it was falsely shown that electronic payments had been made via a specific money transfer internet portal from offenders' accounts to online store merchant accounts.
The customs authorities were immediately informed and identified the parcels in question and delivered to the competent post office of the Hellenic Post Office.
The Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office conducted a thorough digital investigation and analysis of the case data and an order was issued by the Prosecutor's Office of the Athens Court of First Instance for a preliminary examination.
In this context, digital police research was carried out and correspondence was carried out with the relevant Internet service providers, telecommunications and EL.TA, thus identifying the involvement of 30hronos in the fraudulent markets in question
Yesterday (24-8-2015) police station at the Electronic Crime Division conducted a police operation at ELTA, where the offender was going to receive the products he had ordered in a deceptive manner. 30 was arrested by police officers at the time they were picking up the products, displaying a fake application form for an asylum seeker.
During house searches and physical investigation of the perpetrator, they were found and confiscated:

seven (7) parcels with various products - items he had ordered in the above deceptive way,

two (2) mobile phones,

fake Application Form Asylum Insider,

documentary evidence of criminal offenses.
