A case file (3) of domestic women was filed in the case
From the Electronic Crime Prosecution Division, a case of extortion and defamation, via Internet and telephone calls, was ruled out at 33's own home. For the case a three-year trial case filed against three (3) resident women, aged 35, 40 and 59, was formed.
Investigation of the case began after a complaint that unknown people through posts on three blogs have been systematically and fraudulently blamed since January of this year for bribery to pay them the ninety- thousands (90.000) euros to stop publishing similar publications.
Additionally, they made everyday malicious calls to bend their resistances and forcing them to pay them the aforementioned amount of money.
The above was brought to the attention of the Prosecutor's Office of Athens and ordered a preliminary examination to investigate the complainants and to provide the necessary information from the relevant internet providers.
In this context, a thorough and thorough police and digital-internet investigation of the facts and data of the case was carried out, from which it emerged that the electronic traces of the persons who made the disputed correspondences corresponded to connections in the area of Athens and Tripoli.
Subsequently, home searches were carried out simultaneously in Athens and Tripoli, in the presence of Judicial Officers, from which the participation of the above three national women in the acts under investigation was ascertained.
In addition, during the searches, (2) internal hard drives were found and confiscated discs and (1) foreigners, who will be sent to the Directorate of Criminological Investigations, for laboratory tests.
The case file for the regular procedure will be submitted to the Athens District Attorney's Office, according to implementation of the ordered.
