From the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, a case of child pornography was solved, consecutively, via the Internet. A regular procedure file was created against three (3) persons, two (2) citizens, 29 and 24 years old and one (1) foreigner, 21 years old.
In particular, the investigation of the case began after an evaluation of evidence and information, regarding the case of a 12-year-old girl, who had been taken to a pediatric clinic, in a state of intoxication and, as it turned out, was talking through Internet with (4) people.
The four during their conversations with the minor had asked her to send her obscene photographs, while one of them had also sent her corresponding photographs. Also, there were promptings from all four, in order for each one to find himself with the child and to act mischievously with her.
The above was brought to the attention of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor's Office and a relevant Order and Will of the Athens Misdemeanor Council was issued, to lift the confidentiality of the communications.
From the thorough digital and online investigation of the officers of the Electronic Crime Division, the online traces of the perpetrators were found, and after correspondence with Internet companies, the perpetrators and the controversial Internet connections were identified.
The morning hours of 7-9-2015 and the 11-9-2015 police escorts of the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, in the presence of a Judicial Officer, went to the homes of the two local stakeholders in areas of Attica.
From the investigations carried out, a portable computer and a mobile phone were found and seized. The seized digital testimonies will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Division for the necessary laboratory examinations.
Note that the 21 foreigner is being searched for, as it turned out, has moved to an unknown address.
The files that have been filed will be submitted to the competent Prosecutor.
