Microsoft recalled today that support for Microsoft 365 applications and services is no longer available to Internet Explorer 11.
In addition, according to the company you should not expect new features in IE11 and that their daily use of the application could be dangerous. Of course over time the applications and services you can connect to today will be disconnected.
Outlook WebApp: Users connected to AAD accounts will continue to have full use of OWA, but no new features after August 17, 2021, while users connected to Microsoft accounts (MSA) will be redirected to Outlook Web App Light.
Explorer / View in File Explorer (SharePoint): Microsoft is aware that some of its customers continue to use Open with Explorer and View in File Explorer (available in IE11 only) to access document libraries. The company's customers can use these features for now. These features, however, will not be further developed.
Microsoft recommends that all customers switch to a modern browser and sync with OneDrive.
Other applications and services are scheduled to be phased out (weeks and months) to ensure a smooth transition to another browser that works with the services / applications.
good evening, change the title from 2011 to 2021 :)
Thanks!
