Intracom Telecom new UltraLink products with capacity up to 15 Gbps

Intracom Telecom, an international provider of telecommunications systems and solutions, is setting new standards in the E-Band with two new products in the UltraLink™ wireless systems family.

The new radio systems offer up to 50% more capacity compared to corresponding E-Band radio links on the international market, achieving 15 Gbps of bidirectional capacity, fully meeting the increased demands of the latest generation telecommunications networks.

The UltraLink™-GX80 Advanced is a fully external wireless interconnect system, offering bidirectional capacity of up to 15 Gbps in a 1+0 radio link configuration, achieving up to 50% higher capacity compared to competitive solutions on the market.

At the same time, the system’s superior system gain performance enables longer distance coverage on E-Band radio links. It combines high-capacity data transfer, extended range and advanced networking capabilities, while its intelligent monitoring capabilities support rapid link problem diagnosis, continuous monitoring of available bandwidth utilization and effective capacity planning. The product is already available for deployment in the US and internationally.

The UltraLink™-GX80 Dual is an E-Band system with two integrated transceivers, delivering up to 15 Gbps of bidirectional capacity using a single 1.000 MHz channel. Its superior spectral efficiency reduces spectrum cost per Gbps and can provide additional savings in licensing costs in markets where regulatory frameworks favor efficient spectrum use and/or limit channel width.

Combining high system gain with integrated Carrier Ethernet functionality, it delivers greater range on E-Band radios while reducing the size, power consumption, installation complexity and cost associated with traditional 2+0 XPIC radio configurations.
