As we reported in a previous release, the new iOS 10 allows you to delete embedded apps from Apple, as long as you are sure you will not need them.
First of all, let's see which applications you can delete:
Calculator
Calendar
Compass
Contacts
FaceTime
Find My Friends
Home
iBooks
iCloud Drive
iTunes Store
Mail
Maps
Music
News
Notes
Podcasts
Reminders
Stocks
Tips
Videos
Voice Memos
Watch app
Weather
There are a few things you should know when deleting some apps:
Even if you delete the Contacts app, all your contact information will be available from the phone application.
You can also make and receive FaceTime calls from the phone application, even if you delete the FaceTime application.
By deleting iBooks, Maps, Music, or Podcast, you will not be able to use them with CarPlay.
You should disconnect your Apple Watch before deleting the Clock application.
Removing apps is simple:
Touch and hold the app until it starts to flicker
Press the x displayed at the top right of the icon, then touch Remove.
Press the Home button to stop the icons from flickering.
If you want to reinstall an Apple application:
Open App Store and search for the app.
Tap Download and you're ready
