The US military shot down another high-altitude object on Sunday, he says CNN. This time the unknown object had flight capabilities. 
"The operation marks the third consecutive day that an unidentified object has been shot down over North American airspace."
Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin said Sunday that the operation to bring down the object over Lake Huron was conducted by U.S. Air Force and National Guard pilots.
The object was flying at 20.000 feet over Michigan's Upper Peninsula and was about to pass over Lake Huron when it was neutralized, a senior government official told CNN on Sunday.
The object was "octagonal" with strings dangling and no discernible payload, according to the official. Although the US has no indication that the object had espionage capabilities, that scenario has not yet been ruled out.
