One of the biggest changes planned for this year's iPhone is the switch from Lightning to USB-C. The transition will be at the request of the European Union, as companies that sell phones in Europe they should release their devices with USB-C from 2024.
Apple probably doesn't want to wait until the last minute and plans to equip the iPhone with a USB-C port from 2023.
An image that posted by Unknownz21 on Twitter shows us the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Of course we can't say if the image is real or not, but there's a good chance that the real iPhone 15 Pro won't look too different from this one.
The European Union has proposed new regulations for device manufacturers in October.
“By the end of 2024, all mobile phones, tablets and cameras to be sold in the EU should be equipped with a port chargings USB Type-C. From the spring of 2026, the obligation will also be extended to laptops. The new law, which was approved by the Plenary by 602 votes to 13 with 8 abstentions, is part of a wider EU effort to reduce e-waste and empower consumers to make more sustainable choices," the EU announced at the time .
But rumors suggest that Apple is looking for new ways to expand it program Made for iPhone and USB-C cables. This could be bad news for users as well cable USB-C not certified for iPhone could end up with charging and transfer limitations data.
