Documentary filmmaker Ernesto Galioto's iPhone 6s survived a 300m drop from a small airplane and most amazingly, he recorded his fall for all to enjoy.
Gallioto pulled the iPhone 6s out of the small window of the single-engine plane to take aerial shots of a beach in Rio de Janeiro. All is well until the phone left his hands due to the wind.

When he landed and checked on her application Find My Phone, discovered the iPhone 6s was still on and sitting in the middle of a Rio beach. It had a small scratch, but it survived the drop and still works thanks to a silicone case and protective glass screen (apparently the sand helped too).
You can watch it above video, the iPhone 6s falling from nearly 300 meters, which also includes cockpit footage and of the moment Galioto drops his phone. Surprisingly, it's not the first time a phone (or camera) falls from a great height and lived to tell his story.
