In recent days, a rumor has been circulating widely that wants iPhones to charge faster if the device is in Airplane mode. The rumor seems to be true if you consider that the device does not search for a signal, the GPS and in general all the functions devices are in “Sleep.”
Using an iPhone 5s as a test device, the website Tuaw made two charges through a wall socket. One with Flight Mode turned off and one with Flight Mode turned on.
With the feature turned off, they were able to charge from 1% to 25% in 21 minutes. For 50%, it took 45 minutes, and for 95% it took one hour and 32 minutes.
Flight mode now enabled. According to rumors, we should have great expectations.
But the charging up to 25% was done in 18 minutes and up to 50% took about 43 minutes. Charging up to 95% took an hour and 29 minutes.
Ultimately, of course, there is a difference but not so much to be worthy of speech.
