The Kali Linux is a Debian-based distribution. It contains a very large collection safety tools and penetration tests.
The project has just released a new version for the year 2020 and it brings a number of important changes. The new version, 2020.2, of Kali Linux merges the various desktop with editions in single download options and removes the ability to run multiple as root by default.
“The latest version makes it easier for users to have access in PowerShell, to update issues for KDE Plasma, and the size requirements for the distribution's ARM-build SD cards have been increased from 8 GB to 16 GB.”
"Some time ago, we put PowerShell in the Kali Linux network repository. This means that if you wanted PowerShell, you had to install the one-time package with "sudo apt install -y PowerShell". Now we have put PowerShell in one of our (primary) metapackages, Kali-linux-large. This means that if you choose to install this metapackage during system setup or when the Kali distribution is up and running (sudo apt install -y kali-linux-large), if PowerShell is compatible with your architecture, you can go straight to it (pwsh). PowerShell is no longer in the default metapackage (Kali-linux-default).
