Kaspersky Lab today announced a bug bounty program to enhance business security, but also to build new relationships with other researchers.
The company announced the program today at the Black Hat USA conference. The bug bounty will be made through platforms HackerOne.
In a world where cyberattacks have become commonplace and there is a skills shortage, bug bounty programs have become a popular method companies use to attract White Hat researchers.
So now to offer a place in the company's Hall of Fame they use established platforms, communication channels and financial rewards to gain the necessary expertise to keep their systems and the software them as safe as possible.
The first phase of the bug bounty program officially begins on August 2 and will last for six months.
During that time, the company will offer a total of $50.000 in rewards to researchers who uncover errors και τα τρωτά points in the company's products.
Once this phase is completed, the company will decide on which additional products should be included in the second phase.
