Microsoft has released the KB5005101 update for Windows 10 devices in versions 21H1, 20H2 and 2004 via Windows Update. For those who prefer to update their systems offline, the company also provided direct download links.
KB5005101 is an optional update and you do not need to install it immediately through Windows Update. It does not include security patches so Windows Update will not install it automatically. However, it brings several fixes for stability and other improvements and will be included in the Patch Tuesday September.
KB5005101 will update your system version to Windows 10 Build 19043.1202 if you are using version 21H1 (May 2021 Update). For those who still use the 20H2 version, with the same patch can be found in Build 19042.1202. Similarly, the 2004 version raises the build number to 19041.1202.
This optional update addresses issues with Bluetooth A2DP connections, a feature that allows support for music playback.
