A few days ago, Microsoft released an urgent OOB (out-of-band update), the KB5084597, which aimed to fix a critical network security vulnerability.
Today the company released yet another OOB update, this time to fix a Bluetooth issue affecting the visibility of Bluetooth devices, as well as Bluetooth settings not appearing in the Windows 11 Settings page or the Quick Settings menu in the Action Center panel.
Like the previous one, the new update was released for systems with Windows 11 versions 25H2 and 24H2 with a configured hotpatch version running Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024.
The release notes for the new update KB5084897 state:
“[Bluetooth] Fixed: This update resolves an issue where Bluetooth devices may not appear on the Bluetooth & Devices page in Windows Settings or Quick Settings, even if the devices are connected and working as expected. This issue could also prevent users from adding new devices because available devices were not listed for connection.”
You can find the support article here on Microsoft's official website . The update will be downloaded and installed automatically on hotpatch-enabled devices, the company says.
