The team behind it KDE project announced the release and availability of the new environment desktop with (desktop environment ), KDE Plasma 5.6 for GNU / Linux operating systems.

"Today the KDE project is releasing a new desktop version, Plasma 5.6," the announcement says.
"This release of Plasma brings many improvements to the task manager, KRunner, the activities, and support of Wayland, as well as a much more sophisticated look and feel."
The KDE Plasma 5.6 environment is currently moving towards software repositories of the most popular GNU / Linux operating systems.
We will see in the next days or weeks and as usual, will follow five maintenance updates, the KDE Plasma 5.6.1 the end of this month, KDE Plasma 5.6.2 to 5 April, the KDE Plasma 5.6.3 to 19 April, the KDE Plasma 5.6.4 to 10 May, and the latest, the KDE Plasma 5.6.5, available on June 14 of 2016.
