The popular KeePass app has just released version 2.53.1, a security update. For those who don't know the app is a password manager that stores data encrypted locally.
It's the password manager I use and I highly recommend because I do not like the idea of my code in the cloud.

Of course, the app has plugins if you want to expand its features, such as synchronizing your data between different devices.
If you're already using the app, just check for new updates and you can upgrade it. Those who do not use it can download it from the link at the end of the post.
KeePass 2.53.1 reportedly fixed a security flaw reported last week. There has been information about a vulnerability in password management from the Federal Cyber Emergency Team of Belgium.
KeePass 2.53.1 reportedly fixed a security flaw reported last week. There has been information about a vulnerability in password management from the Federal Cyber Emergency Team of Belgium.
KeePass developers disputed but patched the vulnerability, stating that hackers would need write access to the system, which would give them options to obtain the entire system, not just passwords.
The software is usually available as an .exe installation as well as a portable version.
