Tax-free mobile phone: Who is eligible?

Did you know that you can submit an application to have your mobile phone bill exempt from mobile telephony fees? A simple electronic application is enough to the Register of Beneficiaries of Exemption of Mobile and Prepaid Telephony Subscribers' Fees (Non-D.A.T.E.).

Of course, this does not apply to every mobile phone owner, as only young people are entitled to exemption from mobile and prepaid telephony fees.

The process is done online, through the Public Service platform, using personal TAXISnet codes.

Who can apply?

If you are between 15 and 29 years old, you are entitled to exemption from mobile and prepaid telephony fees, by submitting an application for registration in the Register of Beneficiaries of Exemption from Mobile and Prepaid Telephony Subscriber Fees (Non-D.A.T.E).

You can log in to the service with your personal TAXISnet passwords and submit your application. For beneficiaries who are minors, the application is made by the person with custody.

Login to the service

To submit your registration application you will need to state:

  • your AMKA or PAAFPA,
  • the AMKA or PAAYPA of the beneficiary in the case of a minor under your care,
  • the mobile phone number to be exempted from fees,
  • the mobile telephony provider, in whose network the mobile telephone number operates for fee exemption.

To verify the use of the mobile phone number you provided, you will receive a one-time code via SMS to this number.

To replace the registered mobile phone number you will have to delete your submitted application and register a new application.

The declaration of contact details in the application you submit constitutes a solemn declaration.
