An impressive video using artificial intelligence depicts Knossos in its heyday, revealing the advanced infrastructure, the unique social structure and the secrets of one of the most impressive civilizations of antiquity.
An impressive video, created with the help of artificial intelligence, "brings to life" Knossos around 1700 BC, transporting the viewer to the heyday of the Minoan civilization, considered the first advanced civilization in Europe.

The digital visualization presents the Palace of Knossos as it is estimated to have been in antiquity: a huge complex with over 1.000 rooms, without defensive walls, but with impressively developed infrastructure for the time.
Particular reference is made to the palace's sophisticated hydraulic system, as well as the existence of flush toilets, technologies that appeared in other European regions many centuries later.
The video also highlights the unique social structure of the Minoans, pointing out that power was probably not exercised by kings, but by priestesses, an element that differentiates this culture from others of antiquity.
According to the narrative, the course of the Minoan civilization was decisively influenced by two major disasters: a powerful volcanic eruption and, subsequently, raids by populations from mainland Greece, events that gradually led to its decline.
Finally, the video connects the fall of civilization with the creation of well-known myths, such as those of the Labyrinth and the Minotaur, arguing that these legends may be a reflection of real events and a lost, but existing, society.
Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.
